Long-running competition show Survivor will be awarded the Legacy Award on June 6. In honor of the show’s 50 seasons, The Newport Beach TV Fest is celebrating the show’s cultural impact and influence.
Fan-favorite cast members attending will include Aubry Bracco, Dee Valladares, Ozzy Lusth, Rick Devens, Rizo Velovic and Tiffany Ervin. Host and executive producer Jeff Probst will also be featured in a special video message.
Recognizing “Jeff Probst’s iconic hosting” as well as “the unforgettable players and moments that have become part of pop culture,” the festival celebrates Survivor.
The Survivor 50 cast will appear

“For 50 seasons, Survivor has remained one of the most influential and enduring series in television history,” says Gregg Schwenk, CEO and executive director of the Newport Beach TV Fest.
“[The show is] continually redefining the reality competition genre while captivating audiences across generations … Survivor has built an extraordinary legacy of storytelling, strategy, and human connection. We are honored to present the series with the Legacy Award … [We’re also] thrilled to welcome members of the Survivor community to Newport Beach for this special celebration.”
For the first time, Season 50 turned the fate of the players over to the viewers. 24 previous competitors returned to play for a chance to win $1 million.
Held at the Lido Theater, the TV Fest will run June 4-7. During that time, a lineup of screenings and events will highlight television talent, from creators to industry top brass.
Some of the other previously announced honorees are Andy Cohen (Variety Creative Impact Award), Mindy Kaling (Artist of Distinction Award), Sebastian Maniscalco (Standup Comedy Special of the Year) and Seth MacFarlane (Maverick Award). Also included are the cast of Landman (Outstanding Drama Ensemble Award), the cast of Shrinking (Outstanding Comedy Ensemble Award) and Gold Derby’s Breakout Award honorees.
Survivor Season 50 concludes on May 20 on CBS. It streams the following day on Paramount+.
