In a Wednesday, May 20, Instagram post, Vanessa Trump penned, “I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.”
The popular model and ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. shared, “While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.” She continued, “I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me.” Vanessa did not give any additional details about the medical procedure that she underwent.
She went on to share, “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.” Vanessa concluded, “Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”
Friends and family members have since taken to the comments section to express support and send best wishes for Vanessa’s speedy recovery. Her former husband, Don Jr.’s sister, Ivanka Trump wrote, “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.” Vanessa’s eldest daughter, Kai Trump, commented, “Love you! Strongest person ever.”
Vanessa Trump’s health update comes shortly after her boyfriend, star golfer Tiger Woods, completed a six-week treatment following his recent DUI charges after a car crash. He returned to his home in Florida on Wednesday, May 13.
Trump and Woods reportedly began dating in November 2024 and publicly announced their relationship the following year. Woods has two children from his previous marriage with Elin Nordegren. Meanwhile, Vanessa is a mother to five children, including Kai, with her former husband, Don Jr.
