Taylor Swift Super Bowl Halftime Show Rumors Surfaces

Taylor Swift has yet again sparked Super Bowl Halftime Show rumors. The NFL announced on Tuesday, May 19, that Super Bowl 64, set for 2030, will be held at Nashville’s new Nissan Stadium. The stadium will be completed in February next year. Swift began her music career in Nashville, and fans are hoping that she finally performs at the long-coveted event at Nashville’s new Nissan Stadium.

Will Taylor Swift play in Super Bowl Halftime Show?

There are speculations that Taylor Swift will headline the next Super Bowl Halftime Show. It is no secret that the pop icon has been in association with the NFL for years. However, the singer is yet to headline the greatest sports event in America. However, it seems like that might change with the next Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Although Swift was born in Pennsylvania, she began her music career in Nashville as an aspiring country music singer. Hence, fans believe Swift’s life would come full circle if she headlines her first-ever Super Bowl in Nashville (via Us Weekly).

The Tennessean’s Bryan West wrote about this in a speculative piece published on Tuesday. West penned, “The idea of the global superstar returning to the city where her career began for one of the biggest entertainment spectacles on Earth feels almost too perfect.”

Swift has often received requests to headline the Super Bowl halftime show, but the singer has continued to evade it. In a past appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show, she said, “Here’s the thing. Jay-Z has always been very good to me. Our teams are really close. They sometimes will call and say, ‘How does she feel about [mumbles]?’ That’s not, like, an official offer or a conference room conversation.”

The pop icon added, “Our teams are really close. ‘How does she feel about it in general?’ And we’re always able to tell him the truth, which is that I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field.”

The “Opalite” singer also explained that it does not make sense for her to perform at the halftime show when Kelce is still actively pursuing his NFL career.
