Melania Trump goes viral for her reaction to Donald’s dance
A video of the First Lady reacting to her husband’s signature dance has taken over the internet. The clip is from the annual White House Congressional Picnic, where the two hosted Cabinet officials, members of Congress, and their families.
In the video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Donald Trump broke into a dance, which involves hip-swaying side to side and rocking fist pumps, as band music plays in the background. However, the internet noticed that Melania seemed uncomfortable and reached out to the President to apparently tell him to halt his actions.
Reacting to the clip, a user wrote, “Looks like she was saying STOP a couple of times, then Donny looks at her and gives her the stink eye!”
A second user commented, “Lol do you think Melania is telling him no dancing.” Another user went on to comment, “Melania reaching to stop him is growing on me as part of the dance that is also endearing and WOW what a DRESS! Killing it in style!”
However, one user defended the President’s dance moves, stating, “Leave him alone, Melania. I love his trademark dance and how it is just an “UP” song that it seems most viewers like……”
Previously, during an event, Donald Trump shared that Melania is not a fan of his dancing. According to CNN, he said, “She hates when I dance to what’s sometimes referred to as the ‘gay national anthem’. You know that she hates it. We love that song (Y.M.C.A). But she goes, ‘Darling, please don’t dance. It’s not presidential.’ I said, it may not be presidential, but I’m leading by 20 points in the polls.”
Additionally, during the White House Congressional Picnic, Trump also divulged how he doesn’t like addressing the public after his wife, given her exceptional oratory skills.
