Prince Harry Seeks To Get Back in King Charles’ ‘Good Books’ — Source

Prince Harry is reportedly trying to get on King Charles’ good side to change how Britain sees him. However, critics believe they know exactly what he is up to. The Duke of Sussex has stepped up his public statements on various weighty social issues. Now, sources close to Harry’s father believe the timing is no coincidence. One insider claimed he is choosing issues that “Charles also feels deeply about.”

Prince Harry is trying to ‘present himself as thoughtful, compassionate’, claims source

Speaking exclusively to Radar Online about Prince Harry’s alleged effort to win over King Charles. They claimed, “There are people inside royal circles who think Harry is deliberately choosing causes like anti-Semitism because they overlap with issues Charles also feels deeply about to worm his way back into his father’s good books.” Another added that Harry wants “to present himself as thoughtful, compassionate and statesmanlike.”

The suspicion around Harry’s motives intensified after he published an article in the New Statesman condemning anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim hatred on the very day Charles privately visited London’s Jewish community.

Palace officials were reportedly uncomfortable with the overlap. An insider explained, “From the Palace perspective, Harry is acting entirely as a private individual now and not as someone representing the monarchy or speaking with institutional authority.”

They also claimed, “Some insiders believe there is an element of personal image management involved.”

Yet, a palace aide noted, “Harry and Charles share far more similarities than people sometimes acknowledge publicly.” They added, “They were shaped by the same royal system and both developed strong views about humanitarian issues because of the unusual lives they have lived.”

However, sharing the DNA has not mended the rift between Prince Harry and King Charles. The father and son last met face-to-face during Harry’s brief London visit, and communication since has reportedly happened through back-channel aides rather than directly.
