Kylie Kelce Jokes 6-Year-Old Daughter Might Soon Beat Her at Golf

Every mom knows the feeling when their children become good at something, maybe even better than their parents. You blink, and suddenly your kids are outsmarting or outperforming you at something. For Kylie Kelce, that moment might just happen on the golf course, thanks to her 6-year-old daughter, Wyatt.

Kylie Kelce thinks her daughter Wyatt is getting a little too good at golf

On the recent episode of her podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” Kylie Kelce decided it was time to pick up some golf clubs. The goal? Prepare for the upcoming Underdog Charity Golf Event. But she also had a hilarious, highly relatable family mission in mind. Kelce admitted that she is a total beginner. In fact, her official experience level is incredibly low. “My experience level in golf is that I’ve played eight holes. Eight,” she shared.

Despite being a complete novice, she has some stiff competition at home. It turns out the golf bug has bitten her family hard. Her husband, former NFL star Jason Kelce, recently went to the internet to ask for advice on his own golf swing. But he wasn’t the only one in the viral video he posted.

“He involved the girls,” Kelce explained. “Let’s be real. I think we’ve all seen the video of Wyatt.” Seeing her daughter’s skills gave Kelce a sudden jolt of classic mom motivation. She joked that she has two major goals for the upcoming charity tournament. First, she wants to out-golf her husband. Second, she needs to stay ahead of her kindergartener.

“I’m just out here trying to make sure that not only am I better than my husband, but that I don’t let my 6-year-old pass me on quality of drive,” Kelce joked. To hedge her bets and avoid total embarrassment, Kelce brought in “the big guns” for a crash course. She teamed up with five-time LPGA Tour winner Michelle Wie West at the Mountain Ridge Country Club in New Jersey.

Together, the two moms tackled the basics of the game, from understanding the 14 different clubs in a bag to attempting a par on a par-four hole. While Kelce might still be figuring out the difference between a wedge and a driver, her competitive mom spirit is locked in.

Whether she beats her husband or not next week, one thing is for sure: Wyatt Kelce is keeping her mom on her toes!
