However, these images allegedly appear to have been “taken from within royal grounds.” One of these photographs includes a still featuring Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William.
On May 22, the former royal butler took to his official Instagram to post it. In the photo, the Prince of Wales and the Princess of Wales could be seen sharing a cozy moment.

King Charles’ former butler, Grant Harrold, has reportedly been accused of sharing potential AI-generated fake photos of royal family members. In the caption of one of these photographs showcasing Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, the ex-butler wrote, “This wonderful photo of the Prince and Princess of Wales was taken when I first met them back in 2004.” He concluded the caption by writing, “A true royal love story.”
In the meantime, as reported by the Daily Mail, “The snaps, which were posted on social media, include an intimate photo purporting to show William and Kate cuddling.” Meanwhile, journalist Katie Nicholl also shared the photo. The journalist acts as the former royal butler, Grand Harrold’s co-host on Piers Morgan’s YouTube series, titled “Royals Uncensored.” She allegedly commented: “Love this!”
Meanwhile, per the news outlet, these photos posted by King Charles’ former butler, Grant Harrold, have now created an “uneasy” environment within royal circles. In the meantime, a royal insider told the news outlet, “I can see why questions are being asked by others.”
According to the news outlet, the news about Prince William and his now-wife, Kate Middleton, came to light in 2004, when the royal couple was spotted together in Switzerland, skiing. The former royal butler, Grant Harrold, also reportedly began working for King Charles that same year.
