Scooter Braun claims he doesn’t know Taylor Swift in new interview

On the Second Thought With Suzy Weiss, Scooter Braun talked about his conflict with Taylor Swift. The businessman addressed that following the feud, he went from “loved and appreciated for over a decade to literally a villain the next night.” He continued, “I will say something that will really sum it up that I don’t know if I’ve ever really said.” He went on to share that he doesn’t know Swift. “I think I’ve met her in my life three times,”

Braun added. He also stated that he and the “Bad Blood” hitmaker “never had a substantial conversation.” The 44-year-old revealed that he was once invited to a private party organized by the singer. Braun shared at the party that the duo discussed how they had “mutual utmost respect.” He continued, “You don’t spend $300 million buying a label that she’s on unless you’re excited at the opportunity to work with her. I will never understand that situation to this day.”

The investor further explained, “I wish her nothing but the best. I learned a tremendous amount from it.” He added that he “chose to grow from it” and is grateful for it at this point in his life. “But I think there’s a this big misconception that like we knew each other and we had a feud and like, you know, I managed her for years,” Braun said. He continued, “And people are usually shocked to find out that I legitimately don’t know her and didn’t have many interactions with her and never really knew her.” The record executive said, “I spoke to her really once for like more than 2 minutes. But it was a very nice conversation, and beyond that, nothing ever.”
