Summer House star KJ Dillard has spoken out for the first time following a rumor that he and Dara Levitan are no longer together.
KJ and Dara began dating last summer while Season 10 of Summer House filmed in the Hamptons. But earlier this week, the pair seemingly unfollowed each other, prompting fans to question if they’d called it quits.
While KJ’s return to social media didn’t quite address those rumors, they did give a look into his current state of mind.
The Bravo star is staying “cool, calm & collective”
Taking to Threads, KJ broke his silence since the rumors about his relationship … but he didn’t comment on the state of it.
“Cool, calm & collective,” he said in one post, followed by: “Love, joy, peace.” Pretty cryptic, right?
Well, fans certainly thought so, as they shared a mixed reaction to his words. Some shared their concerns for his mental health, especially after he opened up about exactly that during the first episode of the Season 10 reunion. Elsewhere, others reminded KJ that he doesn’t need to speak on his relationship if he’s not ready, and some simply offered words of support.
“Hope you’re doing ok, KJ! A lot of people relate and are rooting for you. Deep breaths and just take one step at a time,” one person said. “We love you KJ. Your mental health comes first before anything,” added another.
“You can get through this!!” someone else replied, as a fourth wrote: “You don’t have to speak on anything until you’re ready.”
Unlike KJ, Dara has been quiet on socials since the rumor about their split gained traction. She hasn’t removed their photos from her Instagram feed, either – despite the pair no longer following each other.
“Uh oh!! KJ no longer tagged,” someone commented on one of Dara’s Instagram posts with KJ. “He blocked her,” another person replied, as a third asked: “What’s the tea?”
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo, and streams on Peacock the following day.
