Spencer Pratt’s Mayoral Campaign Mocked by Jimmy Kimmel: ‘F—cking Stupid’

Spencer Pratt’s unlikely bid for Los Angeles mayor just picked up another high-profile critic. Jimmy Kimmel used his late-night platform to poke fun at the former reality TV star’s political ambitions, turning “The Hills” footage into campaign-season comedy.

For Pratt, the attention may be exactly what he wants. For Kimmel, it’s proof that reality television and politics are becoming increasingly difficult to separate.

Jimmy Kimmel points out Spencer Pratt’s glaringly obvious lack of experience to hold a political seat

On the June 1 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” the host aired a parody campaign ad aimed squarely at the former “The Hills” villain. The mock commercial mixed clips from Pratt’s actual mayoral campaign with some of his most infamous reality TV moments.

“For decades, L.A. has been run by career politicians. It’s time for real change,” the fake ad declared before delivering its punchline: “L.A. needs a mayor with no experience in anything at all!”

The segment didn’t stop there. Kimmel’s team also referenced Pratt’s crystal business, joking that he could “heal this city with thousands of crystals he was unable to sell.”

The ad ended with an especially brutal jab, urging viewers to “let the world know just how f***ing stupid you are” by voting for Pratt.

Throwback clips from The Hills showed Pratt calling a female castmate a derogatory name and describing himself as “dangerous,” creating a not-so-subtle contrast between reality TV drama and public office.

Kimmel has been openly skeptical of Pratt’s campaign for weeks. During a previous monologue, he argued that Pratt’s growing popularity mirrors the path taken by Donald Trump, who also leveraged reality TV fame into political influence.

“He’s angry about the same problems a lot of people here are angry about,” Kimmel said. “Does he have solutions to those problems? No.”

The comedian also suggested Pratt enjoys the spotlight more than the realities of governing, questioning whether he would actually want to spend his days navigating city council meetings and policy discussions.

Pratt, meanwhile, appeared unfazed by the criticism. Responding on social media, he joked, “Jimmy’s secretly voting for me.”
