According to the TODAY report dated June 2, 2026, Jennifer Lopez appeared alongside Brett Goldstein and Savannah Guthrie. They promoted Netflix’s “Office Romance,” which arrives on June 5. Goldstein said the project began as “an old-school rom com.” He recalled choosing Lopez and saying, “J.Lo, obviously.” The “Ted Lasso” alum said they sent her one blunt note. It read, “If you don’t do it, we’re not making it.” Lopez said her family loved “Ted Lasso.” She remembered thinking, “He wrote this for me?” Then, she called the movie “very funny” and “very romantic.”

Meanwhile, Guthrie shifted to their chemistry after playing Lopez’s “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” clip. In it, Lopez named Goldstein as her favorite onscreen kiss. She said, “he was the best kisser.” Guthrie then said people wondered if the chemistry “might be real.” Lopez answered that she was always linked with co-stars. The actress said, “there’s never a time” she was seen with someone without dating rumors. Goldstein joked, “If you stand near her, that’s what happens.” When Guthrie pushed back, he added a second joke. He said, “That’s why I’ve been standing so close this whole time.”

However, Guthrie kept pressing and told Lopez, “That was not an answer.” The “Selena” star replied that it was. She then said she had also been linked to Kevin Costner. Lopez said, “It happens all the time.” Next, Guthrie asked if they were dating in real life. Lopez answered, “Not dating,” while Goldstein replied, “Correct.” In “Office Romance,” Lopez played airline CEO, Jacqueline Cruz. Goldstein played Daniel, a company lawyer. That workplace plot fed the live TV question.
