Kate Middleton reportedly had a blast-from-the-past moment at a royal wedding. Over the weekend, Prince William’s cousin, Peter Phillips, tied the knot with an NHS nurse, Harriet Sperling. Aside from the groom’s immediate family, King Charles and Queen Camilla also attended the event, along with their successors.
According to a report by The Sun, Phillips’ wedding also had Rupert Finch and his wife, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs, as guests. It was reported that the 47-year-old lawyer and Middleton were allegedly romantically involved when they were at university at St Andrews.
Moreover, a 2023 article by Tatler claimed that Finch was Middleton’s “casual boyfriend” in the past. In fact, the popular Netflix series “The Crown” portrayed their alleged romance in its final season. Meg Bellamy played the princess, while Oli Green appeared as Finch. In reality, the duo had never addressed their relationship. However, the lawyer had once said, “It’s not something I’ll ever talk about. It’s between Kate and me and was a long time ago.”

Meanwhile, he appeared at Phillips’ ceremony with his wife, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs. While he donned a traditional suit, his spouse wore a blue floral dress. On the other hand, William was in a traditional morning suit, and his wife was in all smiles in a beige boucle-knit Roland Mouret frock.
