Lewis Hamilton has reacted to Kim Kardashian‘s recent appearance at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix. The F1 champion called Kardashian’s presence at the Monaco Grand Prix “amazing” while his Ferrari resurgence rolled on with yet another second-place finish.
“It’s amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support,” he said. “But, you know, with my friends, incredible turnout, just overall, the people. Hamilton further added, “It’s amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day.”
Hamilton climbed past George Russell into second in the Drivers’ Championship, his best standing since 2021, after finishing runner-up on Sunday in Monaco behind a dominant Kimi Antonelli, who now leads the standings by 66 points. The 41-year-old drove a strong stint in P2 and held the advantage over teammate Charles Leclerc before Leclerc’s Ferrari went off with 13 laps remaining.
Kardashian supported him from the paddock all weekend, her first race appearance since their reported relationship began earlier this year. After a podium drought in his first 24 outings for Ferrari last year following a tough transition from Mercedes, Hamilton has already claimed three top-three finishes in six races this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports F1, Lewis Hamilton said he is very, very thankful to my team because coming from such a horrendous year last year, finally in the position. He added, “I’m reigniting the passion and belief that they had in me when I first joined.” “After a really big slump that we had last year, to come back up is great to see the fight in them. They are doing a fantastic job. We have a lot of work to do to close that gap,” he continued.
