It’s hard to believe that 2026 is nearly halfway over. It’s been a big year for many television shows, including the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. 2026 has seen many new couples, along with fan-favorite returnees, throughout various shows on the franchise. While 90 Day Fiancé has had many great moments this year, not every couple has had a happy ending. These 90 Day Fiancé couples called it quits this year, bringing their love stories to a close.

Aviva Duhamel and Stig

Aviva Duhamel and Stig were one of several new couples featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 8. They met online after Aviva posted photos of herself traveling in Stig’s home country of Belize, and eventually began a relationship. Aviva later traveled to Belize to meet Stig, and they hit it off. Stig surprised Aviva at the end of the trip by proposing, which she happily accepted.

Unfortunately for Aviva, her happiness was short-lived. Shortly after returning to America, Stig ended things with her abruptly over text. By the time the Season 8 Tell All filmed earlier this year, the former couple had broken up.

Laura Nevenner and Birkan

Laura Nevenner and Birkan were another new couple on Before the 90 Days Season 8. After meeting on Snapchat, Laura flew to Turkey to meet Birkan. She hoped for a hot and steamy romance, which she ended up finding. While she and Birkan ran into a few obstacles, they ultimately worked through things by the end of her trip. Before she went home, Birkan proposed to her, and she accepted.

By the time of the Tell All, Laura and Birkan were still together. Laura had gone back to Turkey to visit Birkan again, and they had overcome several of their major differences. After the Tell All aired, however, Birkan revealed that he and Laura were no longer together. Laura later revealed that they had broken up due to Birkan serving in the Turkish military.

Lisa and Daniel

Lisa and Daniel were also featured on Before the 90 Days Season 8, where they had a chaotic relationship. The two met online and quickly formed a long-distance romance. Lisa decided to fly to Nigeria to meet Daniel in person, but things didn’t go quite as planned. Daniel proposed to Lisa at the airport when she arrived, although he had a lot to learn about her. She hadn’t been upfront about being married five times or the fact that she had only been with women for twenty-one years. Daniel was surprised to learn these things, but nonetheless planned to stay with Lisa.

At the end of the season, Lisa ended her engagement to Daniel when she suspected he wasn’t being faithful. During the Tell All, she revealed that they temporarily got back together before breaking up again. Lisa is currently dating another man from Nigeria, with plans to meet him soon. Daniel’s relationship status, on the other hand, remains unclear.

Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone

Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone are arguably the most surprising break-up of 2026 so far. The two first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé Season 9, when Thaís moved to America to marry Patrick. Despite a few ups and downs, the two tied the knot at the end of the season. They later returned for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8, after having their daughter Aleesi. The family traveled to Brazil while continuing to work on their marriage.

90 Day Fiancé fans were somewhat surprised when Patrick and Thaís were cast on 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3. Season 3 just began airing, and viewers are getting a glimpse into some deeper issues in Patrick and Thaís’s marriage. Before the season aired, however, news broke that Patrick had filed for divorce from Thaís. This came as a huge shock, as many fans felt that Patrick and Thaís were a pretty solid couple. Some fans felt that this spoiled The Last Resort, given that viewers already know what lies ahead for Patrick and Thaís.

90 Day Fiancé is available to stream on Discovery+.
