Destination X Season 2 Cast Includes Reality TV Veterans

Some reality TV icons will compete on Destination X Season 2. The NBC show just announced the new cast, featuring 13 contestants competing for $250,000. Season 1 was the top-rated show in the summer of 2025, reaching over 20 million viewers across all platforms.

Season 2 will welcome two former Big Brother contestants, including one that many believe to be the greatest ever to play that game. In addition, the show will have a former Survivor castaway for the first time. Below Deck and Love Island USA will also be represented.

Reality stars versus newbies is the common theme for Season 2 of Destination X. NBC revealed that one of the biggest names on this year’s cast is Big Brother legend Dan Gheesling. He won Big Brother 10 and finished as runner-up in Season 14. He may be best known for his funeral in Season 14.

Also on the cast is Big Brother alum Tiffany Mitchell. Survivor: Ghost Island winner Wendell Holland joins proceedings, while Below Deck star Aesha Scott will be in the running for the grand prize as well.

Big Brother won’t be the only reality franchise with two former contestants. Kaylor Martin and Nic Vansteenberghe from Love Island USA will also compete for the $250,000. Among those you may not be familiar with are Will Anderson, Lauren Barnwell, Amun Cosme, Lacy Dollar, Matthew Gaston, Dalen Michaels and Sasha Sloan.

The game consists of contestants being blindfolded and taken to several locations which they won’t see. The goal is to figure out where they are, with competitions taking place for clues. Whoever is furthest away from their location is eliminated each week.

Season 1 of the show was a huge success, with professional birdwatcher Rick Szabo emerging as the winner. The first out was Big Brother 19 winner Josh Martinez. He admits that the experience on Destination X drove him crazy. Season 2 will premiere in 2027.

Destination X will air on NBC, while you can stream episodes on Peacock.
