Sources close to Donald Trump shared details with PEOPLE about his thoughts as he recently celebrated his 80th birthday. They mentioned that he’s avoiding thoughts about his age and aging. Now, the president is busier enjoying being in power. “He loves being talked about. Heading into a new decade is daunting for him, yet he lives in his own world,” they added.
The source further claimed that Trump likes spending time getting back at his enemies, as it provides him with “satisfaction, confidence, and what passes for happiness to him.” Further sharing an update on his schedule, they added, “He has aged in the sense that he rarely sleeps and looks zonked many days, but despite turning 80, he wouldn’t have it any other way.”
“He has always been a workhorse and hates vacations. He is not a guy to sit on the beach and relax,” the source continued, referring to his workaholism. Before becoming an octogenarian, Trump was asked by reporters what his birthday wish was, except for peace in the Middle East.
