While some of the other couples on Season 3 have been arguing for a while, some viewers were surprised to see Patrick and Thaís. The couple has always appeared to be happy on social media together up until recently, and never expressed any major issues with one another on the show.
The last time viewers saw Patrick and Thaís was on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8. Their main storyline of the season revolved around traveling to Brazil to spend some time with Thaís’ family. While they had a few small disagreements, Patrick and Thaís were one of the most stable couples of the season. Many viewers were confused about what suddenly landed them a place on The Last Resort after their time on Season 8.
Patrick recently shocked 90 Day Fiancé fans by filing for divorce from Thaís
Shortly before The Last Resort Season 3 aired, 90 Day Fiancé fans discovered some shocking news about Patrick and Thaís. News quickly circulated that Patrick had filed for divorce from Thaís, which shocked viewers. While it was common knowledge that things had become strained between the couple after being cast on Season 3, the divorce announcement was still a shock. In addition to filing for divorce, Patrick also filed for sole custody of his and Thais’ daughter Aleesi.

Thaís was recently arrested for alleged domestic battery
After news broke of Patrick filing for divorce, viewers were shocked yet again when they learned that Thaís had been arrested. Thaís was arrested on May 22 after an alleged domestic battery offense in her current home state of Nevada. She was later released after she posted a $3,000 bond. The charge was a misdemeanor and was labeled as Thaís’ first offense. Thaís’ next court date regarding the incident is currently scheduled for July.
Given the circumstances of Patrick and Thaís’ current relationship status, it’s easy to jump to conclusions regarding certain aspects of the situation. It’s important not to assume anything from the information, as neither Patrick nor Thaís have spoken publicly on any of the claims. While many fans are supporting the couple through the difficult time, they are nonetheless disappointed by the outcome. Some viewers were hoping that Patrick and Thaís could have worked through their problems on The Last Resort, which clearly wasn’t the case.
