Donald Trump Has a New Favorite Tech Billionaire & It’s Not Elon Musk — Source

President Donald Trump has a billionaire CEO friend, and it is not Elon Musk. New reports have claimed that Trump has had a growing relationship with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg over the past months. The pair speak regularly now, and it seems that they have formed a genuine bond of friendship. Previously, Trump had a notable kinship with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, but they seem to have reportedly drifted apart since, with Musk even criticizing Trump on certain occasions.

Mark Zuckerberg is winning as Donald Trump’s favorite billionaire

After his friendship with Tesla CEO Elon Musk for years, it seems that President Donald Trump has found a new billionaire CEO friend in Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg.

“They’ve become surprisingly close,” a source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice, noting that the relationship between Zuckerberg and Trump has evolved dramatically over the past months. “They speak regularly, and Trump genuinely enjoys hearing from him. There’s real chemistry between them.”

Sources have noted that Zuckerberg understands “how to talk to” Donald Trump. “He makes Trump feel respected, valued, and appreciated. That’s a skill a lot of people underestimate.”

The evolution of this friendship comes as Musk seems less and less central in the Trump administration. They had a notable kinship during the early months of Trump’s administration. “Elon has never been interested in flattering anyone,” an insider explained about the richest person in the world, “He’s fiercely independent and doesn’t seek approval from politicians—or anyone else.”

But Zuckerberg appears to be reportedly taking a very different approach to this, and perhaps has a long-term plan in place. “Mark is playing a smarter long game,” a longtime observer said, “He understands that influence is built on relationships. He knows what matters to Trump and how to stay in his orbit.”

Another source added, “Trump loves loyalty, attention, and praise. Mark understands that better than anyone—and right now, it’s paying off.”
