A source told Naughty But Nice by Rob Shuter, “Harry and Meghan are filming this chapter of their lives, and the reunion is a major part of the story,” adding, “Nobody doubts they’ll see the King. The discussion is about access and whether any of those moments will ever be made public.”
While the reunion is anticipated to be a sensitive and much-anticipated moment, it is unsure whether King Charles will agree to be a part of the “reality show”. A royal insider said, “But everyone understands the significance of this family reunion. If even a single image is released, it will be seen around the world.”
The public filming of the moments can raise concerns around privacy, protocol, and the kind of control that the royal family will have over the images. An insider said, “A photograph of Charles with Harry, Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet would instantly become one of the defining royal pictures of the decade,” says a source. “It would symbolize family, healing, and a relationship moving forward.”
