Donald Trump Has 5-Word Reaction to Second Nancy Guthrie Ransom Note

Donald Trump shared his reaction to the latest development in Nancy Guthrie‘s case. The second ransom note suggested that the alleged kidnapper had apologized for her purported death and demanded money for the dead body. The president expressed hope that Nancy comes back safely while offering his sympathies to her family during this difficult time.

During an address to the press, Trump was asked if a resolution would be reached in Nancy Guthrie’s case after a recent ransom note emerged. He responded, referring to the question of whether the investigators will be able to bring her back, “I hope they find her.” He elaborated, “I mean, Savannah’s gone through a rough — that family’s gone through hell. I hope they find her” (via Scripps News).

Back in February, Fox Digital reported that Trump contacted Savannah Guthrie via a phone call to speak about her mother’s disappearance. However, details around their call weren’t publicly disclosed. It was learned that Trump had offered additional federal support as the search for her mother continued. Moreover, Trump also described the disappearance as “an unusual situation” while assuring that they are committed to finding out exactly what happened.

The president’s reaction comes in light of a second ransom note, sent on February 6, which revealed shocking details. It’s learned that the note in question sounded more labored and less confident than the first note that demanded a hefty sum, and also shared an update on Nancy’s whereabouts.

The note reportedly included an apology for the alleged accidental death of Nancy. It also demanded money in exchange for the body; however, a specific amount wasn’t mentioned. This report was later contradicted by TMZ, which claimed that the earlier note didn’t have an apology and didn’t claim that Nancy had died.
