President Donald Trump’s relationship with his personal assistant, Natalie Harp, has stood out because of her unwavering loyalty. In fact, the president feels that she will never leave him, no matter what the circumstances.
The relationship was documented by New York Times journalists Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan in their book “Regime Change”.
Details on Donald Trump and Natalie Harp’s unusually close working relationship
According to RadarOnline, the president believes that Harp is the only person who “loves him as much as his wife, Melania”. Trump has also expressed his firm belief in Harp’s loyalty. Speaking to his other staffers, the president said, “All of you will go off and make money…She’ll never leave me.”
Harp has proven her fierce solidarity with the president on many occasions. The book mentions a time when the president “kept jamming more gold pieces onto the mantel”. “When Trump asked White House residence staff what they thought of the glittering display, most responses were muted, but his devout aide Natalie Harp would gush with delight,” the book explains.
Apart from standing by the president despite his scandalous past, Harp has been instrumental in redecorating the Oval Office in tune with his unique tastes. Harp is also ever-present on golf courses with the president.
The 34-year-old White House aide is alleged to have sent the president many letters with the sentiment “You are all that matters to me,” triggering Susie Wiles, Trump’s Chief of Staff, to exclaim, “Where am I?”
Trump author Michael Wolf has said that the unusually close relationship between Trump and his P.A. had led even the Secret Service to consider Harp a “potential danger to herself as well as the president.”
Harp has also played a key role in navigating the tricky fallout with trillionaire Elon Musk, who stopped taking the president’s calls and deeply affected him.
