Nancy Guthrie Investigation May Be Nearing Major Breakthrough — Report

Nancy Guthrie‘s case investigation may be nearing a major breakthrough regarding the “porch guy” who was last spotted at her home, as per a former FBI agent. The 84-year-old went missing five months ago, and while investigators have yet to uncover conclusive evidence, an arrest might be near, as per reports.

Former FBI agent Maureen O’Connell speaks to Megyn Kelly about her thoughts regarding a Nancy Guthrie suspect arrest

Maureen O’Connell, a former FBI agent on the “Megyn Kelly Show”, said that she is 75 per cent sure that authorities are closer to a breakthrough. She referred to an individual who was seen on the porch the night Savannah Guthrie’s mom went missing.

O’Connell said an arrest is reportedly on the way once that person is found who was seen on the security camera. After the arrest, “floodgates shall swing open.”

Megyn Kelly, the show host, said, “That’s big news. That’s huge, big if true, as the kids say.” Though the former FBI agent did not explain the claims in detail, she cryptically mentioned that progress is being made.

Nancy Guthrie went missing from her Tucson, Arizona, residence on the night of February 1. Days later, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department released footage of a masked individual at her home. The person has tampered with the doorbell camera as seen in the footage.

Savannah Guthrie on the “Today” show said, “We cannot be at peace [until she is found]. … Please do the right thing.”  She added that she was terrified, and the first footage was unbearable to watch. She continues to beg for her mom’s return as the investigation has been ongoing for months.

While authorities have not made any official comment on the “porch guy,” new claims have raised hopes that the month-long mystery will be resolved soon.
