The latest controversy has little to do with either former spouse directly. Instead, comments from a Barstool Sports analyst and fans online have brought years-old cheating allegations back into the spotlight.

The discussion began after Bündchen shared a Father’s Day tribute to her husband, Joaquim Valente. On Instagram, she thanked him for “leading by example” and praised his “love, humility, integrity, discipline, kindness and consistency.” Bündchen added, “You are an incredible role model. We are all so grateful for you, and we love you so much.”
The post celebrated Valente’s role in their family but did not mention Tom Brady, the father of Bündchen’s two older children. That omission quickly became a talking point online.
Barstool Sports analyst Dante Deiana weighed in on X, writing, “Wait, who posted this? The devoted mother and wife who cheated on her husband with the kids’ karate teacher? Gotcha.”
The comment referenced long-running rumors that surfaced after Brady and Bündchen divorced in 2022. However, Bündchen has repeatedly denied allegations that she was unfaithful during her marriage.
The debate soon spread across social media. Some users argued Brady deserved recognition because he shares son Benjamin and daughter Vivian with Bündchen. One commenter wrote, “When she started cheating, she planted seeds that the media ran with. That Brady chose football over his family. That was clearly a PR strategy to cover up her infidelity. Bottom line is she got bored and cheated. That’s why he did the roast. To get comics to roast her.”
