Keke Palmer’s High-Slit Gucci Dress Dips Low at the Back for BET Awards

For the 2026 BET Awards, Keke Palmer donned a backless Gucci dress with a high slit on one side. The actress has once again proved that her style is as bold as ever. Her outfit was risky and sleek, with a huge dose of sparkle for the star-studded event at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on June 28.

Keke Palmer opted for a look from the Gucci Pre-Fall 2026 collection. She was wearing the embellished one-shoulder jersey gown, currently on sale for $10,500. The design of the floor-length black gown, drenched in all-over crystal grid embellishments, was reminiscent of ’90s style. It featured a daring thigh-high slit on one leg that added movement to her look.

The gown was a party in the back. It featured an asymmetric, open-back design that scooped low, beautifully contrasting the structured, form-fitting silhouette of the dress. The crystal grid pattern caught the light from every angle, with the skirt falling to the floor in a straight column style. The dress was from the Generation Gucci collection, which is inspired by the brand’s archival codes.

Styled by Molly Dickson, Palmer complemented the dress with a pair of classic black pointed-toe stiletto pumps. Further, her high-shine accessories echoed the sparkling dress. She was wearing Gucci GG Marmont Crystal Earrings and a matching GG Marmont Crystal Cuff Bracelet. The pieces only added to the sparkle of her look, as she struck a sultry pose on the red carpet.

Her beauty look featured fresh skin and a glossy lip, balancing the intense sparkle of the outfit with an effortless, radiant edge. Meanwhile, she wore her long, copper-toned hair in a half-up style to let the focus stay on her glam and the brilliant cut of her dress. Together, the styling made Palmer an instant show-stopper at the 2026 BET Awards.
