Their story dates back to the summer of 2023, when Kelce revealed on his “New Heights” podcast that he had hoped to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number after her Eras Tour show in Kansas City.
The plan didn’t work out, but Swift later admitted that his public confession caught her attention. Looking back on the moment, the singer said it felt like “an 80s John Hughes movie,” adding that it was as if Kelce was “standing outside of my window with a boombox” asking her out.
Despite the romantic beginning, insiders claim neither of them expected the relationship to become serious so quickly. “He wasn’t looking for anything serious — that’s for sure,” one source alleged.
