Kylie Kelce is keeping it refreshingly honest about life after having four kids. The podcast host recently shared that one lasting postpartum body change has completely reshaped how she shops for swimsuits, and why one style is officially off the table.
The wife of former NFL star Jason Kelce has never shied away from candid conversations on her Not Gonna Lie podcast. This time, while chatting with Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher, Kylie opened up about body confidence, comfort, and embracing the changes that came with motherhood.
Kylie Kelce says pregnancy permanently changed her belly button and how she feels about wearing string bikinis
During the July 2 episode of “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, Kylie explained that her swimsuit preferences have evolved since welcoming daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finn.
“Personally after having four children, I can honestly say I don’t think I’m going to wear a bikini again,” Kylie said, before clarifying that she might still wear a high-waisted two-piece. “Under no circumstance am I popping on a string bikini and that’s my business because that’s what feels comfortable for my body,” she explained.
Instead, Kylie has become a fan of full-coverage swimsuits, joking that there’s “something very Baywatch” about the classic one-piece. Ilona agreed, calling fuller-coverage suits “beautiful,” as the pair swapped beach-day preferences that leaned more toward playing in the waves than lounging in the sun.
Kylie also admitted that practicality plays a major role in her wardrobe choices. “I wanna jump in the waves, I want to play games… I want to play mermaids,” she said, adding that she needs a swimsuit that’s “definitely not flying off.”
The conversation echoed a personal confession Kylie shared on a June episode of the podcast. She revealed that her once-pierced belly button stretched during pregnancy and “never went back.”
“It is truly something that bothers me so much,” Kylie admitted.
Still, she said she’s actively working on giving herself more grace. “I have made it a point to say to myself that my body has made four human beings,” Kylie shared. “You have to give yourself grace… It’s okay to mature in your bathing suit choices if that’s what makes you feel comfortable,” she added.
For many parents navigating similar changes, Kylie’s honesty may be the most relatable thing she’s shared yet.
