Prince Harry will reportedly arrive in the UK this summer with his very own “private security.” As reported by Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice, during their UK visit, the Duke of Sussex and his family, including his wife, Meghan Markle and their two kids, might be travelling with a big “close-protection team.” According to the news outlet, a source even estimated that they would have “as many as 10 security officers rotating shifts to provide 24/7 coverage” the moment they arrive in the UK.
In the meantime, an insider said: “This will be one of the biggest private security operations we’ve ever seen surrounding the Sussex family.” The person continued, “The team will be with them every minute they’re in Britain.” They also added, “Nothing is being left to chance.”
Meanwhile, according to Rob Shuter, there is a striking difference between the protection team “assigned to senior working royals” and the “private security” team hired by Prince Harry for the alleged upcoming UK trip. The Duke’s “bodyguards” will reportedly not be able to “carry firearms.”
