Taylor Swift’s Wedding Left Travis Kelce’s Family Feeling Overwhelmed — Insider

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding was reportedly nothing short of a star-studded extravaganza. According to an insider, the groom’s family might have been a bit “overwhelmed” with the extravagant nuptials. Although they were aware of the singer’s global popularity, it might have been a lot for the Kelces. For those unversed, the couple tied the knot at Madison Square Garden, which is known for hosting big concerts and major championship games. Hence, the spectacle at MSG for the wedding allegedly left Swift’s in-laws in awe.

Travis Kelce’s family found the wedding ‘extravaganza’ overwhelming, claims insider

Travis Kelce’s family reportedly found the NFL star’s wedding to Taylor Swift overwhelming. An insider told the Daily Mail that the athlete was apparently brought up in a “modest, middle-class suburb in Ohio.” Before the Kelce brothers became NFL stars, they reportedly used to live a simple life. Therefore, the extravaganza was allegedly a huge deal for them.

“Almost all of them have seen Taylor in concert or have been around her. They’ve had three years to get used to Taylor’s world. But they’ve never seen anything like the spectacle of MSG. It was a lot,” they said.

Meanwhile, the outlet revealed that Kelce’s mother, Donna, reacted to the wedding. She stated that she didn’t have all the words, while describing the wedding as “magical.” Moreover, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was reportedly a bit “nervous” at the altar. His vows seemed emotional, as Swift also “looked tearful.”

Earlier, PEOPLE reported that the bride and groom’s vows were about “20 minutes each.” Legendary singers such as Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks reportedly performed at the reception. Around 1,000 guests attended the ceremony. “It was very crowded,” they added.

Swift and Kelce walked down the aisle on July 3 at MSG, where big displays confirmed their wedding. On a couple of purple screens, it was written, “JUST&T MARRIED!”
