According to TMZ, Howard’s latest court filing responds to concerns raised by Cassie over a nine-minute TikTok video he posted on June 7, which has since been deleted.
In the video, Howard referred to Cassie as a “whore” and said, “Bitch, I’m going to burn you out with fire.” He also remarked, “You want to play stupid games, you can win stupid prizes.” Cassie’s legal team argued that the statements amounted to threats directed at their client.
Howard, a former male escort who is now studying law, maintains that his remarks were protected speech and were never intended to intimidate Cassie. In his declaration, he told the court that he voluntarily removed the TikTok after it was posted and denied making any genuine threat.
He further explained that the “fire” comment was a mere figure of speech. He did acknowledge that some of the language in the video was “intemperate” and didn’t “reflect the tone” he planned on bringing into litigation. Cassie has also asked the court to ban Clayton’s trash-talk on social media. Howard also agreed not to make further public comments while the case remains ongoing.
Howard became involved in legal proceedings connected to Sean “Diddy” Combs after his name surfaced in allegations made by Cassie Ventura. The lawsuit references so-called “freak-offs,” which prosecutors have described as drug-fueled, coerced sexual encounters allegedly orchestrated by Combs as part of a broader pattern of abuse.
