Anne Hathaway has once again delivered a masterclass in elegance, looking stunning in a see-through Prada dress that barely hung on to her. The Oscar-winning actress donned the ensemble for “The Odyssey” photocall in Paris on July 7. Co-stars Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Matt Damon, and Tom Holland also joined her at the press event.
Anne Hathaway’s see-through Prada dress barely hangs on with just a string for ‘The Odyssey’
Anne Hathaway turned heads in Paris in a custom Prada gown that perfectly balanced minimalist structure with whimsical detail. The floor-length ensemble featured a black column silhouette topped with a sheer, high-neck halter overlay. The opaque piece underneath wrapped over her baby bump before flowing down into a column skirt.
Meanwhile, the see-through mesh overlay created a beautiful illusion neckline anchored by a single string. Scattered insect-like metallic gold-and-bronze beadwork adorned the sheer fabric. At the back, the same fabric was gathered at the neck and cascaded down. The cape-like detail trailed after her as she walked, adding movement to the look.
Styled by Erin Walsh, the “Princess Diaries” star elevated the ensemble with a stunning suite of Bvlgari Serpenti high jewelry. On her wrist, she wore a multi-layered coiled diamond-and-yellow-gold Serpenti bracelet, paired with a wrap-around snake ring. Complementing the jewelry’s serpentine motif were a pair of matching platinum-and-yellow-gold diamond earrings, flashing vibrant emeralds for eyes.
Further, Hathaway opted for minimalist, metallic gold Gianvito Rossi Manhattan slingbacks. The patent leather sandals featured an open round toe, tonal covered stiletto heel, and adjustable slingback strap with pin-buckle fastening. The gold tone of the sandals echoed the embellishments on her dress.
The “Interstellar” star kept her glam effortlessly sophisticated. She wore her signature rich brown hair in a classic blowout with soft, breezy layers framing her face. Meanwhile, her makeup featured black eyeliner, luminous skin, and a neutral, rosy pink lip.
