Pussycat Dolls Founder Robin Antin Pays Tribute to Lauren Bennett

Robin Antin shared an emotional farewell to Lauren Bennett, remembering the late singer as one of the most important people in her life. The tribute came just days after Bennett’s death was announced, as friends, family, and former bandmates continued honoring her legacy.

The Pussycat Dolls founder reflected on decades of memories with Bennett, describing a bond that stretched far beyond music. Her heartfelt message arrived as the investigation into Bennett’s death remained ongoing.

Robin Antin remembered Lauren Bennett’s talent, kindness and lasting impact in a heartfelt statement

TMZ reported that Antin paid tribute to Bennett on social media, revealing they first met when the future G.R.L. singer was just 16 years old. Over the years, Antin said their professional relationship evolved into something much deeper.

In her message, Antin described Bennett as her “beautiful best friend,” her “chosen sister,” and her creative partner, saying the two became family while pursuing their dreams together.

She also reflected on the qualities fans rarely saw behind the scenes.

Antin remembered Bennett as “wonderfully funny, delightfully silly, endlessly caring, and fiercely loyal.” She added that Bennett’s laugh was contagious, her smile could light up any room, and that “her heart was every bit as beautiful as her voice.”

The loss, Antin admitted, remained difficult to process.

“My heart aches every day,” she wrote, adding that she was especially saddened Bennett was not here to witness the outpouring of love and recognition that followed her passing.

According to the publication, Antin also reposted a letter from Bennett’s father, who criticized the medical care his daughter received. Looking ahead, she told fans she planned to share more of Bennett’s performances because “the stage was where she came alive,” and every appearance reflected “the joy, passion, and light she carried within her.”

Antin closed her tribute by thanking Bennett for years of friendship, laughter, adventures, and shared dreams.

“You have left a mark on this world that will never fade, and a place in my heart that can never be filled. I love & miss you endlessly, my beautiful friend,” she wrote.

Earlier this week, Bennett’s former group G.R.L. also announced her death in a statement shared on social media, writing, “It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren.”

TMZ reported that authorities continued investigating Bennett’s death, with the inquiry expected to remain open until at least October.
