Shay Mitchell turned a routine doctor’s appointment into a full-on fashion editorial while starring in the latest campaign for her travel brand, BÉIS. The actress appeared in a see-through Alaia skirt, giving a sneak peek of her thong. She teased the launch with the caption, “Adding surgeon to my resume. A few improvements, full recovery by July 16th,” hinting at the brand’s upcoming bag release scheduled for July 16.
Shay Mitchell’s thong peeks through completely see-through Alaia latex skirt
Shay Mitchell’s stylist confirmed the designer in the comments, writing, “The doctor who wears Alaïa is my favorite doctor”. This revealed that Mitchell was dressed head-to-toe in Alaïa for the shoot.
The campaign cleverly transformed a cosmetic surgeon’s office into a fashion set. Mitchell was posing beside sketches, measuring tapes, and BÉIS luggage as though the bags were undergoing plastic surgery before their big debut.
For the shoot, Mitchell wore a glossy nude latex ensemble. It featured a long-sleeved cropped Alaïa top with a high neckline and sculpted underwire seams. The fitted top ended just below the bust. It left a wide section of her toned midriff exposed before flowing into the coordinating skirt.
The matching high-waisted latex pencil skirt hugged her figure before falling to a midi-length hem. While the nude shade created an illusion effect, the completely see-through material revealed more than expected. In a few photos from the carousel, her matching thong could clearly be seen beneath the transparent skirt. This added a cheeky finish to the monochromatic look.
Mitchell completed the look with rectangular black eyeglasses, blue surgical gloves, and yellow colored pointed pumps. She fully committed to the faux-doctor concept. The actress styled her dark hair in a loose updo with face-framing strands. Her soft glam makeup kept the glossy Alaïa look front and center.
The humorous campaign doubles as the teaser for BÉIS’ newest launch. The brand confirmed the mystery bag will officially “recover” and release on July 16. Between the innovative concept and the daring latex look, Mitchell found a memorable way to build anticipation for the upcoming drop.
