With doubts emerging over Donald Trump‘s hand bruises, a new explanation of the scarred texture of his skin has come out. An old clip of the POTUS providing reasons for the clearly visible contusions is now circulating on the internet, where he put the onus of his supposed injury on an accident with a table as well as an aspirin dosage.
Donald Trump told reporters the bruise came after he bumped a table and takes a larger aspirin dose

President Trump: “I’m very good. I clipped it on the table. So I put a little—what do they call it—cream on it. But I clipped it. I would say take aspirin if you like your heart, but don’t take aspirin if… pic.twitter.com/DyZb9oFV0W
During the Republican Party leader’s return from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in January this year, journalists aboard Air Force One questioned the US President about the clearly visible dark patch on his hands.
“We saw the bruising on your hand. Are you OK?” a reporter asked Trump, as seen in an X (formerly Twitter) clip. In response, the president noted, “I’m very good. I clipped it on the table. So, I put a little — what do they call it? — cream on it. But I clipped it,” as per The Mirror.
Additionally, Donald Trump claimed that his hand bruises were also a result of his aspirin dosage. “I would say take aspirin if you like your heart,” he noted. “But don’t take aspirin if you don’t want to have a little bruising. I take the big aspirin. And when you take the big aspirin, they tell you you’ll bruise.”
Trump continued, “The doctor said, ‘You don’t have to take that, sir. You’re very healthy.’ I said, ‘I’m not taking any chances.’ That’s one of the side effects of taking aspirin.”
Since then, the problem seems to have persisted, as a photographer recently pictured Donald Trump’s hands covered in makeup during a meeting last month with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in the Oval Office. The bruises appeared on both his hands, with Trump seemingly having used a foundation to conceal the marks.
