The couple has always been deeply in love. However, they have traditionally been reserved when it comes to public displays of affection. Recently, however, they have appeared much more relaxed and laid-back about expressing their affection in public.
As per the Daily Mail, the Princess of Wales recently completed her charity challenge of climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales in under 24 hours. After completing the challenge, she was welcomed at the finish line by Prince William, their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, were also there to greet her.
Everyone congratulated the future Queen with a hug. However, William held her tightly after the achievement. This made the moment even more emotional as it appeared to be a genuine display of love and pride.
Renowned body language expert Judi James noted that the sweet moment reflected the “honest intensity of their feelings for each other.” She added, “Their rituals suggest there’s been no real change in the intensity of their love for one another; what’s happened is they have finally felt safe enough to trust enough (not each other but the public and the press) to show it.”
The expert further noted that William and Kate were not holding back during the hug. They embraced each other naturally because they were genuinely happy to see one another.
