Meghan Markle allegedly appeared to be feeling “flattered” around the contestants of MasterChef Australia Season 18, who were reportedly “nervous.” She joined three of the show’s regular judges, Poh Ling Yeow, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Sofia Levin, as a guest judge.
As reported by Express.co.uk, Inbaal Honigman, an expert, analyzed the Duchess of Sussex’s body language in the entire episode. The expert reportedly spotted a moment in the episode when a royal remark left the Duchess feeling “delighted.”
In the meantime, Inbaal Honigman said in an interview on behalf of Casino, “When Meghan hears the word duchess, her face changes into a subtle superior pout.” The expert was reportedly referring to a moment around 55 minutes during the episode, when a chef commented, “It’s not every day that a duchess…”
The body language expert then explained, “She tilts her head back, which has her looking down her nose at the others a bit.” They continued, “Her chin is raised proudly and jaw juts forward a bit, which is a defiant facial expression.” The expert then added, “As if she knows that she’s a duchess against all odds.”
Meanwhile, Inbaal Honigman further told the news outlet, “Being a duchess, remaining a duchess has been a hard battle for her.” The expert continued, “And she’s proud that she is in fact a duchess,” adding, “But the pout is the real kicker.” They further stated, “Meghan’s lips close but remain unclenched, as if suppressing a smile.” The expert added, “She’s beyond delighted to be described as a duchess.”
Per the news outlet, Inbaal Honigman also said, “The contestants themselves are nervous around” Meghan Markle. The expert continued, “They’re sweating, gazing downwards, shaking.” The person then explained, “Meghan appears flattered and pleased with their nervous reactions.” “Gazing at them with softened eyes, as if she welcomes their weak-at-the-knee approach,” added the expert.
