Megyn Kelly slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent UK trip and alleged the Sussexes want the Waleses’ royal glow.
Kelly remarked: “They got no viewership, and Netflix, that’s the reason they didn’t renew any sort of a deal with them… Her company, ‘As Ever,’ is reportedly doing poorly. So yes, they go back to the one source of fame and money that they know will work, but I think there’s something else going on at the same time.”
The conservative commentator alleged that the Sussexes want to be working royals and compete with the Waleses because they see them thriving. Kelly elaborated: “Not only are all those things not going well, everything they touch turns to c*** in America, but they’re watching the heir. They’re watching Prince William and Princess Catherine. Everything they touch turns to gold.”
Furthermore, the 55-year-old claimed that Harry and Meghan want “another chance” to prove they are on par with William and Kate. Hence, the Sussexes are working on mending their strained relations with the royal family. The couple recently visited King Charles and Queen Camilla at the monarch’s Highgrove House residence in Gloucestershire.
Previously, the Daily Mail reported that the recent UK trip has fueled the Sussexes’ desire to return to the UK. This is reportedly because their American dream failed to materialize as they envisioned. A friend of the Duke of Sussex said: “That has been an increasing and significant shift in sentiment, a feeling that the American dream might not be all that it was cracked up to be. I am told that this is coming from Meghan as well as from him. I hear that Meghan is all for rekindling and reconnecting with Harry’s English side. She is fully behind it.”
