Howard Stern has won an important court battle in his legal fight with his former executive assistant. A judge dismissed the lawsuit she filed against Stern, his wife Beth, and their companies. The ruling also kept one of the confidentiality agreements at the center of the dispute in place.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the judge rejected Leslie Kuhn’s claim that someone may have hacked her work email and electronically signed a May 2025 non-disclosure agreement for her. The court cited an email message sent from Kuhn’s account that read, “Signed NDA attached,” as well as the agreement that contained her electronic signature. The judge called her hacking claim a “bald assertion.
Kuhn also argued that she received nothing in return for signing the agreement. The judge, however, pointed out that she continued to work for another nine months after she signed it. In that period, she was paid over $192,000 and also received an $80,000 bonus. The court ruled those facts undercut her argument.
Kuhn had previously filed a lawsuit against Stern and Beth Stern and their respective companies for at least $2.5 million, as TMZ had previously reported. She also asked the court to release her from confidentiality agreements signed in 2022 and 2025. Kuhn alleges the Sterns mistreated her while she was an executive assistant at their home in Southampton, New York. Stern previously called the lawsuit a “shakedown” and a “transparent sham.”
The judge pointed out that Stern had already agreed not to apply the 2022 agreement. However, the court upheld the 2025 NDA and dismissed Kuhn’s entire lawsuit. The judge also declined to sanction Kuhn, but warned her against making more frivolous arguments in the future. The decision was a significant legal victory for Stern in the ongoing battle.
