Donald Trump’s Niece Says His Biggest Strength Is Starting to Fade

Amid concerns for Donald Trump‘s physical and mental health, his niece Mary made an important remark. She came out to say that the president is gradually losing his most effective trait. The clinical psychologist has long been a critic of her uncle. Mary Trump raised questions about Trump’s cognitive abilities before claiming that he is losing his power of reading the room.

Mary Trump argues her uncle’s image of dominance and control has weakened

Mary Trump recently appeared on Molly Jong-Fast’s ‘Fast Politics‘ podcast. The former called out the POTUS for losing his touch in the White House.

She noted that her uncle “did have the ability to read the room better.” Mary Trump added that he was “good at pushing the envelope” and then being able to “recalibrate in real time.” However, Mary Trump believes that the president “does not have the ability to do that” anymore.

“What that means is he’s losing impulse control, and that’s a part of his overall cognitive decline, I think,” she added.

Molly Jong-Fast then highlighted how Trump “really bombed” during the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The President reportedly shared jokes and “just criticized the speech and kept going.” She added that Donald Trump’s behavior surprised the attendees, prompting her niece to say that she is “not sure why anybody is shocked anymore.”

Mary Trump continued, “I mean, listen, when you’ve got this very old man who’s clearly not doing well in every category of being human — psychologically, emotionally, cognitively, physically — we shouldn’t be shocked when he stands up in front of a room full of people to whom he is deeply hostile and many of whom he has endangered with his rhetoric to read a speech he’s never read before, and had absolutely no hand in writing, and have him go off-script, indulge his grievances, and not be able to process the fact that it’s not working anymore. It just isn’t working anymore.”
