Jennette McCurdy’s Third Book ‘The Examined Year’ Is Coming This December

Jennette McCurdy stepped away from acting in 2018 to focus on writing and directing. After the success of her bestselling memoir “I’m Glad My Mom Died” in 2022, she’s now preparing to release her third book this December.

Although there is still some time before the book’s release, Jennette McCurdy has already dropped a teaser for her readers and fans on Instagram and X, giving them a glimpse of what’s coming while also expressing gratitude to some people.

McCurdy said, “i’m so excited to announce that my third book, the examined year, will be out december 8th !! to anyone who’s ever picked up one of my books, come to one of my tour dates, supported my writing in big and small ways – you’ve helped give me the life i always dreamed of living. and now i want you to have yours.”

She described The Examined Year as a guided journal designed to help readers identify their core values, set goals that align with those values, and reflect on their lives throughout the year as they gain new insights.

McCurdy also said she had “designed every piece of this journal” with readers in mind, explaining that she tested countless prompts and carefully selected everything from the vegan leather cover to the fonts and layouts.

This will be Jennette McCurdy’s third book. Before this, she had already written two books. Her first book, “I’m Glad My Mom Died”, focused on her journey as a child star and the emotional and physical abuse she experienced from her controlling mother.

Her second book, “Half His Age”, marked her fiction debut. “The Examined Year” will become McCurdy’s third published work when it releases on December 8.
