Harry Styles had fans gasping after he took an unexpected tumble during his latest concert in Mexico City. The pop superstar quickly turned the awkward moment into a crowd-pleasing one by laughing it off and continuing the show without missing a beat.
The fall came after severe weather disrupted the opening night of his Mexico residency. Despite the soggy conditions, Styles kept the energy high and thanked fans for sticking with him through the storms.
Harry Styles continued entertaining fans after his onstage fall in Mexico City
Harry Styles slipped while performing the second night of his Together, Together Tour at GNP Seguros Stadium on Aug. 2. Fan-recorded videos showed the singer skipping across the stage during Are You Listening Yet? before suddenly losing his footing and landing on his back.
The stadium briefly fell silent after the fall. Styles quickly smiled, struck a playful pose on the floor, and carried on with the next lyric. Fans erupted into cheers as he stood up and finished the performance without showing any signs of injury.
The slippery stage may have played a role in the mishap. Reports noted that heavy rain and hail hit Mexico City before the concert, leaving the performance area slick.
The weather also delayed the opening night of Styles’ six-show Mexico City residency. According to the Daily Mail, the singer thanked the audience for waiting through the storm. “Viva México! Thank you so much for being here. Is everyone all right? Okay, it’s just like sweating if you think about it. You survived the rain. Thank you for being here. It means so much to us,” he told concertgoers.
The Mexico stop forms part of Styles’ ambitious 50-show global Together, Together Tour supporting Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally. The residency concludes on Aug. 10 before the singer heads to New York for a lengthy Madison Square Garden run.
The tour has already experienced a few bumps along the way. Last month, Styles canceled one São Paulo concert because of what his representative described to PEOPLE as “tour illness.” The spokesperson added, “Harry Styles show on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at MorumBIS has been cancelled due to tour illness. Your order will be refunded at the point of purchase. Friday, July 24, 2026 will play as scheduled.”
Earlier this summer, fans also worried after Styles appeared to choke on water during a Wembley Stadium performance. He quickly recovered and finished that show as well.
