According to RadarOnline.com, the 44-year-old Prince fears that his stepmother is playing both sides. The royal heir viewed it as an attempt to challenge his authority and signal that she still holds more influence.
For the unversed, Prince Harry traveled to the U.K. last month to launch the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games. However, sources are saying that the trip was also a bid to mend the strained ties between the Sussexes and the royal household.
According to insiders, Prince William kept his distance from his estranged brother. They say that he still hasn’t moved past Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s critical remarks. The prince was said to be annoyed that Queen Camilla helped with peace talks, something other sources wrote off as gossip.
“Camilla’s argument is that she was there to watch over things and keep an eye on Meghan because she doesn’t trust her,” explained the source.
“She insists she only agreed to go because Charles needed her there to support him and protect him, but William isn’t buying that.
