Rihanna’s Kids Share Slice of Mom’s Childhood Where She Grew Up in Barbados

Rihanna gave her three children a glimpse into her childhood during an emotional visit to the Barbados neighborhood where she grew up. The singer shared the special family outing on Instagram, calling it a full-circle moment as she returned to the street that now proudly bears her name.

Rihanna’s kids experience a full-circle moment with mom visiting the street where she grew up

The Fenty Beauty founder visited Rihanna Drive with sons RZA, 4, and Riot, 3, along with daughter Rocki Irish, who turns 1 next month. The road, once known as Westbury New Road, was officially renamed Rihanna Drive in 2017 to honor the global superstar, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

In the photos, Rihanna held baby Rocki while standing beside her sons on a sign marked “Rihanna.” Another clip showed the proud mom reaching for Riot’s hand while wrapping an arm around RZA as the family posed together.

Reflecting on the emotional visit, Rihanna wrote, “One minute I feel like that kid from Westbury…the next minute I’m bringing my own kids back to ‘Rihanna Drive.'”

She added, “Trippy how life works! And the Glory STILL and WILL ALWAYS belong to the Almighty Creator!!!”

The post quickly touched fans, who praised the heartwarming family moment. One person commented, “It’s the moments like this? You did that!!! Full circle ?.” Another wrote, “Now THIS is the life goal most of us pray and strive for?. Stay true to your purpose!??” A third added, “This is so beautiful, full circle moment! Congratulations.”

The visit came after Rihanna spent time celebrating in Barbados this month. She recently attended the country’s Grand Kadooment Day parade during the annual Crop Over festival. Days earlier, she and partner A$AP Rocky hosted a Spider-Man-themed birthday party for their son Riot.

The family outing also followed Rocki’s recent appearance on The Jason Lee Show. During the interview, he smiled while watching a video of Rocki crawling for the first time. He also spoke openly about raising their three children.

Rocky admitted that he and Rihanna rely on plenty of support from family and nannies. He explained that having help allows them to balance busy careers while staying present for their children. The Barbados visit showed exactly what that commitment looks like. Rihanna gave her kids the chance to experience the neighborhood where her remarkable journey first began.
