Graham Norton, who attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s big day, shared his thoughts on the event. While appearing on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, he called it a “lovely wedding.”
The comedian admitted that there were some details he would not have chosen for his own wedding. He said, “You saw things, you know, ‘Oh, that’s a lovely touch,’ and then you saw things, like, ‘Oh, I wouldn’t have done that’.”
Norton said his biggest “exciting” moment came before the event. He added, “Being in the car, the big black car, and New York is all shut down, and you’re heading toward Madison Square Garden. That was like, ‘Oh, my God. Oh, my God. What’s it gonna be like?’ And then you went through these big curtains and the car’s there, and you get out of the car. The minute you got out of the car, you were at a wedding.”
Another British star, Radio 1 DJ Greg James, also shared his experience of the couple’s big day on the morning show, according to the Independent. He said, “It was a room full of the most famous people in the world. It was like going to Madame Tussauds, but the wax was animated, and you could interact with the wax, and it talked back to you. It was absolutely mad. I think I had a few wees next to NFL players.”
The high-profile wedding at Madison Square Garden included many Hollywood and NFL stars. An estimated 1,000 guests attended the event in New York City. Norton, who was among the attendees, later reflected on the celebration during the morning show.
