Brad Pitt Refuses to Lose Hope Over Family After Kids Drop Surname — Source

Brad Pitt reportedly remains hopeful about reconnecting with his children despite recent family developments. Sources claimed he believed he would eventually have a place in their lives again. The actor has reportedly taken a patient approach while family relationships remain strained.

An insider claims Brad Pitt believes he will eventually reconnect with his children.

According to Radar Online, Pitt remained optimistic after Maddox and Zahara sought to remove “Pitt” from their names. An insider claimed he had not become discouraged by the developments. Instead, he reportedly focused on maintaining hope for the future.

“One thing about Brad that’s stayed constant is that he knows how lucky he’s been,” the source said. The insider added that Pitt had “patience, resilience, and persistence” despite the situation. They claimed he was “not despairing” about his relationships with his children.

Maddox, 24, reportedly filed a legal petition seeking to remove Pitt from his name. Zahara, 21, also reportedly filed a similar notice. The moves came amid family tensions following Pitt’s split from Angelina Jolie.

The insider claimed Pitt believed his role as a father could not disappear. “Brad knows he’ll eventually have a place in all of their lives again,” the source said. They added that Pitt helped raise his children and contributed to who they became.

Pitt and Jolie married in 2014 before separating in 2016. Their relationship has remained complicated by years of legal disputes. Their nearly decade-long custody battle ended when their twins turned 18 in July.

Sources also claimed Pitt’s approach had changed during his sobriety journey. One insider said he would “always pick up the phone” if his children needed him. The source added that he was not planning to change that approach.

Pitt reportedly has a different relationship with each of his six children. They include Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. Despite the surname filings, another source claimed Pitt viewed himself as their father.

“He’ll always be their dad,” the insider said. The source added that Pitt wanted his children to be proud of him. For now, reports suggested he remained focused on patients rather than giving up. His family situation has remained deeply complicated.
