Sarah Ferguson’s ‘Shocking’ Demand From New Mom Princess Eugenie Causes Tension — Source

Sarah Ferguson is reportedly hoping to stay with Princess Eugenie and her family in Portugal. The alleged request comes shortly after Eugenie welcomed her third child, a baby girl. According to a source, Ferguson wants to be closer to her grandchildren and believes she could lend a helping hand to the new parents.

However, the reported plan has seemingly left Eugenie in a difficult position as she adjusts to life with her newborn. Her husband, Jack Brooksbank, is also said to have reservations about Ferguson moving in permanently.

Sarah Ferguson and Princess Eugenie are apparently at the center of an alleged family dilemma following the arrival of Eugenie’s baby girl. The newborn, Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank, was born in Lisbon on August 3 and is the couple’s first daughter. She joins her older brothers, August, 5, and Ernest, 3.

It is understood that Ferguson has traveled to Portugal to be close to the family. Sources cited by Closer Online now claim she would like to stay longer and potentially live at Eugenie and Brooksbank’s Portuguese home.

The request is said to come from the former Duchess of York’s affection for the area. She has allegedly visited Melides several times and is now interested in making the town a more permanent base. An insider claimed she sees the arrangement as a way to enjoy a quieter lifestyle while remaining close to her grandchildren.

“Sarah would love to be given the keys,” the source said. According to the insider, Ferguson believes she could help look after the children when Eugenie and Brooksbank are in Portugal. She could also stay there when the couple is away.

On paper, the arrangement might seem convenient. However, the source claims Eugenie and Brooksbank are not convinced. The couple reportedly values the privacy they have found in Portugal, where they can spend time away from the intense attention surrounding the Royal Family.

Now, that sense of seclusion could be at risk. An insider claimed Eugenie and Brooksbank want to focus on their new family of five. Having Ferguson live with them could bring additional attention to their home.

What’s more, Brooksbank is said to be “sympathetic” toward his mother-in-law. Still, the source alleged that he has reservations about a permanent arrangement. “Having Sarah effectively move in is a whole different matter,” the insider added.
