Daveed Diggs joked that there is only so much he can do to help his pregnant wife, Emmy Raver-Lampman, during the final stage of her pregnancy.
The couple recently visited the Babylist showroom in Los Angeles to shop for their second baby. During the visit, the Hamilton star discussed how he could support Raver-Lampman during her third trimester.

Diggs said his main contributions were making meals and giving Raver-Lampman foot rubs.
“I’m essentially useless. I like foot rubs and making dinners, but that’s basically all I can do that’s of any value,” he said. “I’m just like, ‘What can I do? How can I be helpful?’”
Raver-Lampman, 37, said her second pregnancy has been different from her first. She explained that she and Diggs had spent more time thinking about what their lives would look like when they were expecting their first child.
Their circumstances have changed now that their 2-year-old son is in the picture. “You just don’t have time to think about it when you’re chasing around a toddler,” Raver-Lampman said.
The couple announced the pregnancy on July 6 in a joint Instagram post. They shared a black-and-white photo with their son and revealed that their family was growing.
In the announcement, Raver-Lampman said their son was looking forward to becoming a big brother. She also shared several things he wanted to do with the new baby, including reading books, playing with trains, having milkshakes and listening to Kendrick.
Diggs later spoke about the pregnancy during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in July. He described himself and Raver-Lampman as “really excited” while acknowledging that they were tired.
Diggs also said their son was excited about the new arrival. According to the actor, the toddler says good morning to his sibling “every day in the belly.”
The couple is now preparing to welcome their second child while caring for their 2-year-old son.
