Cynthia Bailey revealed Vicki Gunvalson didn’t recognize her while filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. The 59-year-old said that Gunvalson had “no idea” who she was, joking that “she might’ve been a little afraid” of her.

During an exclusive interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea along with Crystal Kung Minkoff, Bailey recalled her awkward interaction with Gunvalson. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star said, “I go up to Vicki [and] she literally has no idea who I am.”
Gunvalson failed to recognize Bailey, who was dressed as 50 Cynt, the male alter ego she created. Bailey introduced the character during a Halloween party in Season 10 of RHOA while celebrating her 50th birthday. Bailey said she expected Gunvalson to realize she was part of the cast. The encounter happened while they were filming at a party in Atlanta.
Bailey recalled that Gunvalson looked at her like she was “crazy,” prompting her to reveal that she was Bailey. Gunvalson then appeared confused, leading Bailey to clarify that she was Cynthia Bailey from The Atlanta Housewives. However, Gunvalson responded with surprise, admitting that she didn’t know who Bailey was. Minkoff pointed out that she had previously appeared on Gunvalson’s podcast and acknowledged that it can be easy for the Housewives to get mixed up with one another.
Gunvalson and Bailey both star in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, the franchise’s fifth season, which made its debut on August 9. The pair are part of the show’s core cast, joining Lisa Barlow, Teresa Giudice, Porsha Williams, Kyle Richards and Gizelle Bryant. The series premieres on Bravo as the cast embarks on a cross-country road trip celebrating 20 years of The Real Housewives.
