Donald Trump’s Granddaughter Reveals The One Thing He Does On The Golf Course

Donald Trump seems to have a certain routine on the golf course, as revealed by his granddaughter and fellow enthusiast of the sport, Kai. In a recent interview, the competitive amateur golfer opened up about what it is like to share the field with her grandfather, before providing insight into their personal relationship.

Kai Trump discusses playing golf with Donald Trump

During her August 21 appearance on NewsNation’s Katie Pavlich Tonight, Donald Trump’s eldest granddaughter Kai lauded her grandfather’s golfing skills, all the while sharing a peculiar tactic that the POTUS executes while playing.

“He’s a great golfer,” she noted. “I’m telling you, he’s really, really good. He plays with the pros all around the world.” Kai added, “When we’re playing with each other, even if we’re on the same team, he still tries to get into my head. So I guess he kind of teaches me to just stay more focused and don’t let people get into my head.”

Trump’s granddaughter then shed light on her own attitude towards golf. “I’ve always loved competing,” she remarked. “I’m very competitive person, to be honest with you. You’re always trying to compete against yourself and get better score than you did the day before. I like competing because I feel like it gives you a drive to compete. I always want to be the best at whatever I’m doing, and playing golf kind of gives me that.”

Despite Kai’s on-field rivalry, Donald Trump’s granddaughter emphasized that she shares a fairly normal dynamic with the POTUS. She exclaimed, “He’s just like a normal grandpa. That’s what I call him, grandpa. And sitting down at dinner with him, we just talk like normal people.”

Kai Trump continued, “Like if you spoke to your grandpa or a family member, it’s just, it’s very normal. And we talk about golf because we have that in common. We talk about a lot of other things. He loves sports. I love sports. And it’s just like having a normal dinner with your family member.”
