Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly resist rushed Prince Harry reunion

Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have reportedly resisted rushing for a reunion with Prince Harry. As reported by PEOPLE, King Charles reportedly hopes that the unexpected UK return of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might eventually help heal one of the deepest royal family rifts. Per the news outlet, an insider told the publication that the monarch “will want to see his sons together over time.” The insider also added, “This is the best opportunity we have seen in recent years.”

Prince Harry, his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two kids reunited with King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House in England recently. It marked the first time the monarch had met his two grandchildren in four years. As further reported by the publication, a source called the private family reunion “a real positive.” The source further explained, “The King would love to have Harry around.”

Several insiders told the magazine that there is “no contact” between Prince Harry and Prince William. The Prince of Wales and Kate Middleton were also absent during the recent Highgrove House reunion. According to the sources, the Prince of Wales has shown no signs that he plans to change his stance. Meanwhile, a source told the news outlet, “It is going to be challenging for William. It will be very hard for him and Catherine.” “There is a deep sense of betrayal,” the source added.
