Prince William‘s reported feelings regarding a possible reunion with Prince Harry have been revealed. Harry is set to return to the UK after he and Meghan Markle stepped down as royals in 2020. Prince William has ‘zero interest’ in mending relationship with Prince Harry
Royal expert Rachel Bowie recently suggested that Prince William might not be willing to repair his relationship with Prince Harry once the latter moves back to the UK.
Bowie spoke on the Royally Obsessed podcast. She stated, “The brothers famously haven’t spoken in years, and William especially seems to have zero interest in mending their relationship.” As per a report by The News International, the relationship between the brothers worsened gradually. This happened particularly after the release of Harry’s comments about the royal family in his memoir “Spare” and in multiple interviews.
Based on previous reports, William feels Harry has broken the family’s trust with his statements. Thus, a reconciliation between the two has long been predicted to be difficult.
However, Bowie believes William may soon have to face Harry as his UK return plan sets in motion. She added, “But with Prince Harry local again, how long can William avoid the issue? That was perhaps a motive in Harry’s decision to return home.” With Harry’s return to the country, Bowie stated that the duo will meet at some point, and that will cause “repeated” headlines until William decides to address it publicly.
Despite the tense dynamic between William and Harry, King Charles has some wishes for his sons once Harry returns to the UK. A source close to the palace told People Magazine recently, “He will want to see his sons together over time. This is the best opportunity we have seen in recent years.”
